A History of Manned Space Flight
Description
This presentation covers the origins of manned space flight. From the first animals in space (fruit flies) through to the space shuttle and beyond. From the most optimistic early flights (Wan Hu).

Through the whole history of man's fascination with speed and exploration. The talk not only covers the space programmes developed by both the American and Russian governments but also the political atmosphere that led to their development.

The theme of global change continues as the talk turns to British involvement in space flight and the fledgling Space tourism industry of which Starchaser plays an important role
